Teaching through technology.

 I chose to talk about the use of technology in the process of teaching. Considering the situation in which we are, technology has become an inseparable part of our day. We have been using technology in learning process for more than a month now and despite its difficulties , its the only way we can stay in touch with our professors and lectures as well. But why technology is so important nowadays in the teaching process? How can we make proper use of technology in the classroom? 

Finding creative ways to use technology in classroom can make your life easier as e teacher and boost student interacting levels and engagement with lectures too. There is no limit to the ways we can use technology in the classroom, from organizing curriculum calendars , to enhancing presentations and lessons with visuals or media and many other ways that help to improve communication among students and teachers. When integration of technology in classroom is thoughtful and stressless, students not only become engaged but they also begin to take control over their own learning, too. Effective and proper use of technology changes classroom dynamics and encourages student-centered project- based learning. Before you use technology in class think about how you are going to use technology with your students, without getting them distracted. Or what kind of technological tools am i going to use.  

In the classroom, technology can include all kinds of tools from low-tech pencil, paper, and chalkboard to the use of high-tech tablets, online collaboration and many more. The latest technology allows us to try teaching in virtual classrooms that was not possible years ago, and what you use depends on what you are trying to accomplish. It is important to acknowledge that students are very engaged and interested in using technology in teaching and this is a very good opportunity for teachers to benefit from integrating some forms of technology in the classroom and make teaching process very interactive and effective as well. Technology empowers students by giving them ownership of how they learn, making education relevant to their digital lives and preparing them for their future career. Teachers are striving to personalize learning for their students. Technology can help them reach high levels with access to students needs, content, apps and more. Technology help teachers create comfortable learning environment, bringing new tools for learning and teaching to classrooms. 

Technology in teaching help students get prepared for their future career and technical skills they need to be successful today and tomorrow’s workforce. With technology and access to resources beyond those classroom walls, students are able  to become problem-solvers, critical-thinkers, creators and collaborators. Because where technology has been successfully integrated, students develop a lifelong love of learning. 

As future teachers, make sure you include technology in your teaching process, because ”Technology is the present and the future”.
